Ged Test Answer
Q. my wife is from Honduras central America where she possses a high school diploma and 2 year bachelor studing science & lititure. plus one year liberal arts in a University. Now the above what i have written i really don't ungerstand myself. in Honduras thier school system is different then the U.S. She recieved a bachelor certification, not a degree, to prepare her to take liberal arts in the university, which is a 4 year circullum where after 4 years they would obtain a degree. If anyone's head is spining, dont worry i have to live with her. My question regarding her education is what is it equal to in the USA. Does she have to obtain a GED and if not where does she go to convert her hondurean Diploma & certifications. 1. What exactly is a G.E.D. I know it is supposed to be the equvilent of a high school diploma. Whith a G.E.D. you cannot join the US Navy, Why? I thought it was equal too a regular H.S.D. What other restrictions are thier on a GED, After passing can you be acccepted into any college or university of your choosing, of course if you can pass thier entrance exams. 2. What is a S.A.T. test can you take it after obtaining a G.E.D. 3. I heard that A G.E.D. is a very difficult test to take and that the final exams in high school is much easier is this true of false. The questions for me are this: 1. I was left back in 10th grade three times and was forced to quit school. When i approched the US Navy recruitment center to escape prosecution of certian federal crimes I was going to be indicted with they told me i cannot join with G.E.D. or without a H.S. Diploma they set it up for me to take small 3 month course and pass a test, after i did that i had obtained a real high school diploma with false transcripts of my attendence and so on to show that i actually graduated from this particular school which until this day I have never seen and i am 34 years old. During my stay in my real H.S. i took a small business class and took 1 year of mechanical drafting, one year of trade school electricity as a prexqusite to go to a proffessional technical school for Commmercial & industial HVACR(heating, ventilating, Air conditioning and refrigeration. I passed all my classes for trade, technical and small business school. i got Fs in everything else. I worked for 10 years for HVACR companies 89 in all and opened and still operating my own business for 7 years. i can now see how important the other classes were due to the fact that i had to relearn everything latter on. like Math, writting proposals and so on. But i did it. Now i look back and see that i am self educated in accounting, marketing, coustomer relations, sales, buying, business planning, and so on. 2. I would like to know if i can upgrade my High school diploma to an associates degree in HVACR technology and Business by corresponding with the depatment of education? Sorry for the spelling and grammer errors but its 12:30 Am and i am lazy, have the flu and exhusted.
