Online Nursing Continuing Education
Q. The list has been interesting, but as a nursing student is week 4, much of the info is going right over my head. This is good... I'm learning! My school has internet networked systems, but so far, access is only available to computer majors and those in computer classes. I would like to make a convincing proposal to the nursing dept that would enable access for nursing students. What I need some help with is finding more internet based resources that are valuable to nursing students. This list is the only one I know of. Please post info here. I'm sure others will be interested, too.

These programs can be completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home while earning needed accredited contact hours towards continuing education units; and (4) nursing gopher and usenet discussion group access, specifically designed to connect you to the most updated nursing information from resources around the world. All continuing education programs are ANCCCA accredited and have been developed by the University of Maryland School of Nursing and enable you to earn 2 contact hours per program towards required CEUs for licensure and certification maintenance. Starting October 1994, contact hours will be awarded by attending "live" interactive conferences on the forum on Wednesday evenings starting at 9 PM EDT in addition to the written programs.
